To celebrate, we wanted to honour customer number 1000, Abigail.
Abigail was looking to move out of her family home and decided she wanted to buy a boat. When she was younger, she spent some time on her nan’s barge and enjoyed the experience and concluded that she wanted to live aboard a narrowboat.
When Abigail approached Promarine Finance, she had already found the narrowboat of her dreams. The team worked with Abigail to help her secure a marine mortgage that enabled her to purchase ‘Sparklingbrook’, where she recently invited family aboard to spend quality time together and celebrate her 27th birthday.
Back in April 2023, Promarine Finance team member Asha visited Abigail on board to bring her a selection of gifts and see how she was enjoying life on the water. She shared that she loves looking up at the sky at night and seeing how bright the stars are compared to where her parents live.
Abigail runs a catering company, Jabbs Caterers, which caters for all occasions including birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, baby celebrations and more. She is able to provide a hot or cold buffets and sit-down meals. You can get in touch here.
